The IPRA Six-County Senior Olympics provides an opportunity for older adults to compete with their peers in an atmosphere of friendship and support, and to receive recognition for their efforts and achievements. The event is open to seniors of all ability levels, and hosts more than 30 events including golf, tennis, bowling, swimming, biking, track and field, horseshoes, bocce, volleyball and more.
All participants will receive a 2010 Senior Olympics T-shirt and medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each category. Registration forms and a detailed schedule are available by calling Teresa Grodsky at 847-692-3597. Senior Olympics is sponsored by Presbyterian Homes, Glenview Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, and Guardian Home Care and Hospice. Tickets will be mailed directly from the White Sox approx. 7-10 days prior to the game date. If anyone in your group requires wheelchair accessible seats, you must notify IPRA in writing prior to the May 20, 2010 deadline date. There will no changes to ticket orders after May 20, 2010.
