The IPRA Six-County Senior Olympics provides an opportunity for older adults to compete with their peers in an atmosphere of friendship and support, and to receive recognition for their efforts and achievements. The event is open to seniors of all ability levels, and hosts more than 30 events including golf, tennis, bowling, swimming, biking, track and field, horseshoes, bocce, volleyball and more.
All participants will receive a 2010 Senior Olympics T-shirt and medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each category. Registration forms and a detailed schedule are available by calling Teresa Grodsky at 847-692-3597. Senior Olympics is sponsored by Presbyterian Homes, Glenview Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, and Guardian Home Care and Hospice. Tickets will be sent directly from the Chicago Cubs 7-10 days before game date. ORDER DEADLINE 6/9/10. If you require wheelchair accessible seating please fax your request to (630)376-1919 prior to order deadline. You may cancel/decrease/increase (subject to availability) your ticket order IN WRITING before 6/9/10 deadline. Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE after the deadline. You will receive an email confirmation notice to indicate your order has been processed.
Ticket prices include a 12% City of Chicago Amusement Tax.
T-Ball Participants: Match-Ups & Instructions will be mailed after 6/9/10 deadline. For all teams participating in t-ball, be aware that the Chicago Cubs and/or the Illinois Park & Recreation Association has the authority to cancel the event due to conditions that might affect the well being of the participants. By registering for the t-ball exhibition, you agree to abide by this policy.
